Me over the Years
I am an impact-driven entrepreneur, a product leader, a creative, and a devoted husband in Metro Detroit. With over 15 years at Ford, General Motors, and startups, I enhance human life through innovative experiences in mobility and automation.
I drive growth for mobility-focused companies, with projects across North America, Asia, and Africa. My two years in Argentina inspired me through simple living in underserved communities.
Having over 12 years in management at Ford and GM, I’ve led projects and experiences for Maven, Cruise Origin, BrightDrop, and Ford Model e low-cost EVs, impacting millions. My early research in rural India contributed to a mobility ecosystem for impoverished farmers.
I hold 19 patents and over two pending in AI and mobility solutions, and I’m certified in Design Thinking, Product Innovation, and Leadership. I live by lean and agile methods. Also, I foster team cohesion through empathy and logic, invest in personal growth to inspire others. I also volunteer with youth groups, teaching fitness, baseball, and faith, and have mentored students at CCS, Utah Valley University, and Springboard.
I’m developing an ultra-low-cost mobility device called “e-Kit” with AFreeCar for underserved communities in Mexico, Detroit, and Western Africa.
In my personal time, I train for obstacle course races and triathlons, enjoy meditation, journaling, and tabletop games, and likely have a few more farm animals than last quarter at my property north of Detroit. Feel free to ask me about my training for Kokoro Camp, a fun and challenging boot camp!
